The EIA’s excellent series This Week In Petroleum always has something interesting for oil traders… The charts below show stock levels of gasoline, distillates and crude oil compared to 5 year highs and lows… Also included are charts showing days supply, or stocks divided by daily demand…

Gasoline stocks are now above the 5-year range:

Distillate stocks, while rising in line with seasonal tendencies, are still near the bottom of the 5-year range:

Crude oil days supply is well below last year, despite stock levels in mid-range…
